Stuart Loxton

Working for You

Stuart tells us why he is standing to be our County Councillor for Chichester WEST - and why it is time for CHANGE at County Hall.

I live in the west of the city. I’ve been an active local campaigner for nearly 4 years. As a City Councillor I have been delighted to serve my community; like when I worked with multiple residents’ associations to achieve a unified opposition to a controversial road layout proposal and represent our case to County. That experience revealed the slow pace, indifference
and complacency of our County Council.

I’m keen to play my part with (what I hope to be) a much enlarged group of WSCC Lib Dems to unlock the positive impact we believe WSCC could have on our local area: improved social care and mental health provision - especially for young people, real action to tackle surface flooding, protection of our local environment.

Stuart is Deputy Mayor
As one of Chichester’s younger councillors, Stuart is delighted to have the role of Deputy Mayor

Stuart is a keen runner (and cyclist!) who wants to see more Active Travel policies at County Hall

It is time for change. The only way to shake-up the way County Hall is led is to vote for the Lib Dems here
