Mike tells us why he is standing to be our County Councillor for Chichester NORTH - and why it’s time for CHANGE at County Hall.
I live and work in Chichester and I’m bringing up my young family here - so I’m very much invested in doing as much as I can for my community. In campaigning for the Jessie Younghusband school, I have seen at first hand the lack of proper engagement and involvement of local residents in WSCC policy making. My insights into the significant influence that WSCC has on the lives and fortunes of residents have led me to stand as your County Councillor. My personal mission is to ensure that the Lib Dem approach of collaboration and transparency is applied when major County decisions are being considered. I believe that County resources should be channelled to where they will make a difference to local residents.
It is time for change. The only way to shake-up the way County Hall is led is to vote for the Lib Dems here
