Richard tells us why he is standing to be our County Councillor for The BOURNE Villages - and why it is time for CHANGE at County Hall.
My family has lived in the area since 1975. As a Chichester District Councillor since 2023, and an unpaid carer for more than 7 years, I have been co-opted to West Sussex County Council Health and Adult Social Care Scrutiny Committee (HASC). These experiences have made me resolved to do what I can to improve the process of accessing help, assistance and funding for carers. The inefficiencies and complacency of this Conservative-led County Council need to be addressed. I’m keen to play my part with (what I hope to be) a bigger group of WSCC Lib Dems.
It is time for change. The only way to shake-up the way County Hall has been led is to vote for the Lib Dems here.
WSCC has the potential for a much more positive impact on our communities - and I’m determined to do everything I can to make that a reality for all our residents.
