West Sussex County Council runs things like education, roads, social care, libraries, waste management and trading standards. Of the 70 West Sussex County Council seats, 11 are Liberal Democrats – which makes the Lib Dems the largest minority party. |

It’s a real honour to represent Midhurst on West Sussex County Council since May 2017. I have lived and worked in the area for over 20 years. I was a GP in Chichester for 10 years whilst also working at Brighton and Sussex Medical School. Since 2011, I have worked with patients with dementia as an old age psychiatrist. More recently I have become a West Sussex magistrate. |

I was delighted to be elected as County Councillor in May 2021. I have lived and worked in Chichester my entire life. I am an architect and a design quality assessor, focussing on housing, education and hospitals. Climate change and how we shape our cities, towns, green spaces and buildings to make them carbon-neutral and affordable, for everybody, is at the heart of everything I do. I’m thrilled to have recently been voted as the Deputy Mayor for Chichester. |

It was a privilege to be elected as County Councillor for Bourne division in November 2021. As a local resident, I have been fighting Bourne’s corner since creating SOHV.org.ukto fight harbour sewage spills and setting up an action group to defend local green spaces from developers. I have worked for many years as a business consultant and am working with the Local Enterprise Partnership to support local companies, especially those affected by the pandemic. |
